Work History:
I did my PhD in Madrid working in the development of new nanoparticulated drugs to treat deafness associated to some chemicals. Then I was working in Argentina for two years trying to use some residues from fishing industry as new environmental friendly bio stimulants for agriculture

Current Job:
Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher in Galway trying to develop a new device that could be use in future treatments for Multiple Sclerosis

About Me
I am a Spanish researcher living in Galway with my wife and my dog Chewbacca. I love hard rock, video games, sci-fi and football, and obviously I do love Science.

My Typical Day
I wake up around 7 am, take a quick shower and go for a walk with my dog Chewie. Then I go to the lab, check my email and take care of my cells in culture to see if they are OK or they need more "food".

What I'd do with the prize money
I would like to spend the money on organizing a fundraiser in Galway for MS Ireland (The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland)
