That’s a question we hear a lot, and its a tough one.
We are always finding newer and better treatments, but you can really think of cancer really like a broken car- everyone can have the same type of car (cancer), but they are all broken in different ways. So that they each need a different fix- and we are always finding new and better treatments to help patients live longer and better lives.
My group is working on a drug we hope will one day be used to treat patients, but so are 1000’s of other scientists- we all want to create a drug or treatment that will one day save lives- that’s what we all work towards as a dream outcome.
