Yes there is plenty of them in Ireland, you just have to know the spots.

You will have to look for limestones layers like there is a lot all around Irish coast, they are dark grey or black, you will find a lot of fossils in them from old shells to ammonites or trilobites.
I have seen some myself at Loughshinny, in the Burren and at Fennit but I am sure there is a lot of place that you can find them.
