      This is difficult to answer, because there are many different types of blood vessels of different sizes (diameter). Some of them, called capillaries, are so small that the cells in our blood need to squeeze through them one by one. If you would line up all blood vessels in our body, they add up to a total length of 100’000 kilometres! So we have a lot of blood vessels!
