Yes they do, they’re constantly falling out and growing back (like all the hair on your head/body).
Consider the opposite to your really bushy question. If they weren’t growing back, wouldnt our eyelashes get very bare (you know they fall out, sometimes they get jammed in your eye).
As it happens, they fall out and grow back at the same rate, so you don’t really notice any change from one day to the next, unless one falls into your eye and gets stuck behind your eyelid for aaaaaaaaaages.
Eyelashes do fall and it is perfectly normal for eyelashes to fall out from time to time, just like the hair on other parts of our body. Remember, as children, all of us used to believe that if an eyelash fell out, we could make a wish, blow it away, and good things would happen. ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐
Just like the hair, eyelash growth occurs in a cycle which includes a growing phase and a resting phase. Hair falls out at the end of the resting phase, hence making way for new hair to grow in the follicle. On the average, eyelashes grow back in the similar frame of time i.e. one to six months.
