Had to look this one up. If I’m right Slipstream Space is from the amazing game Halo and is basically a parallel dimension or universe that you can slip into. Like all good games the plot has a grain of truth. One of the most mathematically plausible explanations for how our universe makes sense is that it is just one of an infinite number of universes. Our one happens to have all the right conditions and fundamental particles and the slight imbalance between matter and antimatter for matter to exist and the Higgs Boson particle to allow gravity to work, form stars, planets, pond slime, humans etc. It’s entirely feasible there are other universes and right now there’s another Kevin hammering out an answer to a slightly different question in another dimension. Infinite universes with infinite possibilities in each one. Most universes may look nothing like ours and their big bangs may have snuffed out and collapsed back to a minute particle micro-seconds after they started. Our universe is about 14.3 Billion years old and there may be many older or younger universes out there. Will we ever be able to slip between universes or dimensions? I doubt it. The matter in our universe has fundamental rules and behaviours and while there may another universe out there almost exactly the same you’d have to pick your destination universe from an infinite destination list of universes. What are the odds you’d pick a universe where the matter your spaceship and you are made of would be allowed to exist. Pick the wrong universe from the infinite list and it’s………..GAME OVER
