Absolutely, I love physics and microfluidics (tiny tiny channels for moving liquids around, mixing, metering and generally analysing tiny volumes). Physics is pretty awesome. Optics is pretty cool, and I use my knowledge of light and wavelengths when I’m planning biology experiments and deciding what stains and lasers to use (if you get an overlap in the stains it can be a headache to decipher the results).
I got to go physics busking with the institute of physics once and had a brilliant time. There’s so many cool demo’s you can do with physics.
I have to say I’m really interested in the Cosmology side of physics, where we all come from etc. don’t understand it mind you, but I find it fascinating and I’ve always like astronomy since I was a kid.
