      Symptoms include:

      Nausea and vomiting.
      Diarrhea (may be bloody)
      Red eyes.
      Raised rash.
      Chest pain and cough.
      Stomach pain.
      Severe weight loss.
      Bleeding, usually from the eyes, and bruising (people near death may bleed from other orifices, such as ears, nose and rectum)

      Not a nice way to go. But about 40%of people survive

      The Ebola virus infection is systemic means it enters into blood and attacks every organ and tissue of the human body except the bones and skeletal muscles. The Ebola virus starts digesting collagen (tissue that helps to keep the organs in place). It also forms small blood clots in the bloodstream of the patient which result in reduced blood flow. These blood clots get stuck into blood vessels forming red spots on the patient skin. These red spots grow in size as the disease progress. They also reduce the blood supply to many vital organs such as the liver, brain, lungs, kidneys, intestines, breast tissue, testicles, etc.
      All this results in spontaneous bleeding from body orifices and gaps in the skin. Death is caused by huge loss of blood, renal failure, or shock.
