I’ve been studying glycobiology itself for three years (since I started my PhD), though it does tie in some stuff I studied during my undergraduate degree (cytometry, blood groups as sugar structures, cell death).
I’ve been doing biology/biomedical science for about ten years. I can’t believe 2004 was so long ago…

      Hi 347bera39,
I started studying about nanomaterials and biosensors in Aug 2008-2012 (during my PhD), so 4 years + 2 years in company=6 years now. Even my under graduate and post graduate degree was in similar subjects- Biomedical instrumentation and Biotechnology so I would say since I completed my school in 2003, I have been studying the related stuff.
But my research field is so amazing that every day there is something new to learn…
