      Hi EllenL,

No, not yet. Any hybrid can be developed by crossing animals from different species, but from the same genus. For example zebroids which includes the Zorse (Zebra and a horse), Zonkey (zebra and donkey), zoni (zebra and pony) ,mule (donkey and horse), or tigons (male tiger breeds with a female lion) ,ligers (male lion bred with a female tiger) and many others which are produced by crossbreeding in the same genus. But the sad part of these hybrids is mostly these are not fertile. It’s not a natural process to crossbreed species from different genus. But scientists are still trying to look into the science where they can crossbreed species from different species.
I know one thing that if you will keep the lion and dog together then only thing that can happen is the lion will burp you a thank you as he finishes eating the dog.
