There aren’t any cures as such, but there’s ways to control or prevent heart disease. A sensible diet and plenty of exercise has been demonstrated as a good way to prevent heart disease (and it’s never too late to start, a change of lifestyle to include more vegetables and exercise in later life still helps reduce the risks).
For people with high cholesterol (a risk factor) it’s possible to give them drugs to reduce their blood cholesterol to more normal levels in the hope that this prevents future heart attackes or strokes.
Prevention is really the only cure. If your heart is damaged due to a blood clot or vessels being closed with cholesterol then the muscle loses blood supply and actually dies. Heart transplants are now done regularly but only some candidates are suited to this and a matching organ may not be available when you need it!
There is no cure for heart disease. But heart diseases are not transmitted through microorganisms or there is no cancer for heart. So that means it generally happens because of our poor lifestyle habits…too much junk food, no exercise, etc. We have the option of prevention so why to wait for a cure…what we need is to avoid everything so that we don’t end up having a heart disease.
There are a lot of treatments available for heart disease which can manage the disease and decrease our risk of a heart attack or stroke.
