Linux. I love the idea behind open source software, and I’ve been using various linuxes for so long that everytime I use windows I get frustrated that it doesn’t work like I expect it to. Unfortunately, not all software works on Linux, so I still use Windows a lot, but I don’t have to like it.
I’m currently using Mint with XFCE4 as the window manager. I love XFCE but I could take or leave Mint.
Yeah I agree with you completly the problem with it is that most software is made for Windows/Mac, then again you could use Wine but then again it doesnt always work. I also had Mint XFCE is well but now i’m currently using Ubuntu 14.04
Yeah, and even Wine isn’t perfect. For some stuff, you can find an equivalent piece of software. I’ve got a windows partition on my work laptop because they have so much software that won’t run on linux, but I boot into it pretty rarely
