Yes, your body can’t absorb everything it finds in food, and you’ll see signs of it in their poo. It usually won’t be the food itself, but what’s left of it when all the nutrients have been sucked out of it, so mostly fibre and plant matter. You can often work out what that stuff came from, whether someone’s been eating a lot of vegetables or meat or cereals or whatever.
Of course you can find chunks of undigested food in there too, that’s a dead give away 🙂
