      It’s not, I’m afraid. The UK is just as green, from what I’ve seen of New Zealand it’s the same. Now don’t get me wrong, Ireland’s grass is still really green, and it’s probably due to the weather (lots of rain helps grass grow, and Ireland/UK/New Zealand are all very wet countries), but it doesn’t really stand out compared to other countries with the same temperatures and weather.

      It’s a bit of a myth that the tourist industry doesn’t want to let go of, really. It brings in tourists who spend money, if there’s one thing Ireland is short of right now it’s money…
