  No they didn’t! If they had nuts they probably wanted to keep them to eat.
  Tell you a secret: I was eating a grapefruit at the time, so I tried to throw some grapefruit at them to get their attention. – But the monkeys were too high in the tree and the grapefruit skin came back down and hit me instead!
