• Question: do you like doing science even when it's your time off

      Hello!

      I do! In my free time I like going diving. For my summer holiday I joined a team from another university going to Egypt to work in coral reefs! I helped them with their research diving and also with some of their experiments. It was a nice and sunny break from the normal windy and cold Ireland weather!

      Some kinds of science, yes. I like doing computer analysis and things like that, but I’d really prefer not to be handling poop on my time off…
