Hiya!
the moon doesn’t actually make waves, that’s the wind! Try to make your own waves if you blow across the surface of a hot cup of tea! The stronger the wind the the higher the waves!
The moon causes the tides because of the gravitational pull it has on our planet! – Some tides can be up to 18m high!

Hey! The moon is not white, it only looks like that because the light of the sun hits it. The moon is rocky, so in reality its more greyish of colour!
