      Heya!

      So two air masses for example moist cold air and dry warm air that come together create instability in the atmosphere with the cold air dropping and the warm air rising.This also results in a change in wind direction and an increase in wind speed, at an increasing hight, creates an invisible horizontal spinning effect in the lower atmosphere. Then the warm air starts to twist into a spiral forming a funnel.
