• Question: how many European eels are living on the planet

      Hello,

      we are not sure about the numbers of eels are right now, all we know is that we seem to be seeing 90-95% less of them now compared to 30 years ago.
      There is a lot done about this though, for example last year they introduced over one million juvenile eels to the Thames and their numbers seem to go up slowly.
