      Hello,

      in our own galaxy, the Milky Way, we have about 300 billion stars like our own sun.
      In the observable universe (which is all we can see right now because light from further away simply hasn’t reached us yet) we have about 100 billion galaxies – imagine each of those having billions of stars!

      Many galaxies are smaller than ours, but still have a fair billion stars, while other galaxies are more massive with over 6000 billion stars.

      So within only the observable part of our universe there may roughly 70 billion trillion (7 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000) stars.
