• Question: if robots take over the world they cant do that because no emotion or can they ?

      The robot revolution is a tricky one to predict. A lot of people picture it as being ruled over by emotionless machines. But you have to be intelligent to take over the world. And intelligence makes things weird.

      I think that if a computer became intelligent to take over the earth, it would also develop emotions as part of that intelligence. After all, it’s not going to take over the world unless it WANTS to, right? Then again, they might not be good emotions. You might end up with an artificial intelligence (AI) that hates humans, and tries to exterminate them. Or it might be perfectly logical and keep all humans safe by not allowing them to do anything. A lack of emotion is no barrier to getting things done…

      In the end, I don’t think we’re going to get to the stage where we have robots intelligent enough to take over the world. We give a lot of important jobs to robots, but in the end we’ll always be able to switch them off. 🙂
