      I’d say so, yes.

      No job is perfect. I hate having to deal with red tape and ordering forms and invoices and stuff, but part of doing your own research means buying your own lab equipment.

      But I do love being able to plan an experiment, carry it out, analyse data and all the other good stuff. Then there’s conferences and training courses in other countries, volunteering at science fairs and exhibitions, and fun little competitions like this thing I’m doing right now.

      All in all, I reckon life is pretty good as a scientist 🙂
