      Hi Maria and Erin!

      That would be the blue throated macaw! Its a parrot that lives only in a small Savannah in Bolivia! I was working there for two month to better understand how they behave, what they feed on and how they interact with each other. This is how they look:

      They are actually critically endangered – there are only 350 left in the wild because people would hunt them down for their feathers.
      They are very beautiful, but they make a terrible noise, you wouldn’t believe it. Check this link out to hear what they sound like (click on the red play button)
