      Hiya,

      thats because we are bilaterally symmetrical – that means that we can be roughly divided into two halves that mirror one another – two arms, two legs and two ears and do on. Other vertebrates like birds, reptiles, frogs, or fish are bilaterally symmetrical as well. This curious feature has evolved over millions of years ago in our ancestors and has been like that ever since.
