      Hey Ronan,

      the air consists of different gasses.
      Most of it, over 78%, is a very non reactive gas called Nitrogen. Oxygen only makes up around 21% of air, be we depend on it to breathe and the rest is made of other elements including the inert and un-reactive argon and of course carbon.
