I have to admit the travelling to conferences and courses are just the best thing right now.

They’re a chance for you to see other scientists from around the world present their latest results, to set up collaborations with other universities to tackle a new problem, to meet other scientists and show them your own work, and to learn new skills.

They’re also an trip to another country where you get put up in a nice hotel and served loads of lovely food and drinks, all paid for by the university! 😀

      Hey,

being able to ask questions about nature and the environment and then going out to do observations or experiments to see what the answers are!
I also like travelling to conferences. This year alone I have been to France and Australia!
