Question: which is your favourite computer company?

I try not to have a favourite. Brand names are always a lot more expensive than the same thing made by a generic company that works just as well. I’d much prefer to buy a load of parts and put it together myself, it caves €200-300 most of the time!

I suppose now that Valve have gone into the hardware business with SteamOS and their SteamBox consoles, they’d be my favourite “computer” company, although that’s mostly because of the video game sales they have several times a year where you get to pick up loads of games for stupidly low prices…
