I love my job because it’s a mix of different and really interesting jobs. One day I’m growing bacteria in a petri dish. Another day I’m manipulating their DNA with tiny magnetic beads. And some days I’m writing small computer programs to analyse the data that I generate from the other days!
It means I rarely get bored, and I get to keep a whole lot of different skills trained, and I get to meet with many different kinds of scientist, from computer scientists to nutritional scientists to medical doctors to psychologists and neuroscientists.
