Absolutely! The universe is so large we couldn’t possibly explore every planet to see if life existed there. But, NASA are designing new planet finders that will launch in the next twenty years. These machines will test the atmosphere around planets to test for certain elements we associate with life. Hopefully, one day we will find life on other planets but we have lots of exploring to do to get to that point.

It would be unscientific to say no, in my opinion. The universe is bigger than we will ever understand and there is so much potential to find life as we know it or maybe something very different to what we know.

The recent phosgene discovery on Venus is a big step towards understanding how our universe works.

There certainly can be! The universe is greater than we can ever imagine and we have only scratched the surface on what we know about life on another planet
We have lots of work to do to find other life but recent discoveries on Venus is a great stepping stone !

Even though we haven’t found proof yet, I think there could be! The Universe is so large, we haven’t even explored 1% of it, so saying that there is no life out there would be unscientific! As technology improves and space exploration gets more common, maybe one day we will find some signs of life. You have to remember though, that not all life looks like an animal or a person. Here on earth there are also very tiny living things that we need microscopes to see, such as bacteria and fungi. It is possible that the first life in outer space found could be a bacterium! If that was the case, as a microbiologist, I would love to study some space bacteria!!
