I was in college for four years for my undergraduate degree.

I have already done four years for my undergraduate degree. I’ll be doing another three/four years to complete my PhD.

My undergrad, (what I studied in college after I did my Leaving Cert), was four years long. I am doing a PhD now, and that is also going to take about four years, so eight years in college studying!
