      My digestive system doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to, so I was really interested in learning more about the human body and how my body worked compared to other people!

      For me, it was definitely a good teacher in biochemistry. I was fascinated by how he taught and what I was learning. I ended up working in his lab, and he was a huge help in my decision to do a PhD.

      I had a very good biology teacher who actually studied microbiology in NUIG, the course i am taking now! She was very passionate about teaching how the body works and that got me interested in learning more myself
