Yes and no. Like most kids, I didn’t really like getting out of bed to go to school. I had subjects I liked and subjects I didn’t like. I had teachers I liked and teachers I didn’t like. I liked getting to meet up with friends.
I think the problem with school is that it can be hard to see how all the things you learn come together so you can do something useful. That was definitely a problem I had as a kid, especially with maths. When I went to college, I started to see how useful things like maths actually become.
I’m grateful that I got to go to school and get an education. If I could go back and do it again, I would.
