There is a joke in computer science which says, “the stupidest part of a computer is the interface between the chair and the keyboard”
Funny, but also kind of true. Most of the time when something goes wrong with a computer it is due to human error. The problem is that computers have got so good at seeming clever (almost sentient), that we project intelligence onto them and we get frustrated when they don’t compensate for our own mistakes. So I guess you could say that one of the stupidest things about computers is that they aren’t perfect when it comes to helping all types of computer user.
I also think it is really stupid that most of my Steam games won’t run on Linux. This needs to be fixed!
