• Question: Do you ever get a feeling of just giving up on what your doing or if not what keeps you motivated?

      No. I enjoy my work so I never think of giving up. I like working with people so that keeps me going.

      Yes, when things don’t work or I fall behind or get poor feedback I question whether I am cut out for it tbh. But I (try to) remind myself that it’s a marathon, not a sprint, and that there’s learning even in the failures. A break and a rant with friends makes everything seem better 🙂 also, I do feel that my work has an importance for the wider society, considering the threats posed by bacteria that have become resistant to our antibiotics, so I try to remember that to stay motivated.
