• Question: Do you make any money when you discover something scientific?

      Hmm, I think it depends on where you are working, I am studying in academia so patents and intellectual property are looked after by the university. Once the baseline salary is fair and I am able to live on it, I don’t feel I’d necessarily be more motivated to make more discoveries/publish more papers if there were a financial incentive.
