      I work with a team. I work with come colleagues, i have 4 PhD students, I have two undergraduate students working with me who won scholarships to work for the summer and I have some students on placement with me.

      A combination of both. I usually work alone but get advice about future experiments/plans from my group

      Most of my experiments are solo, but I am rarely alone in the lab! There are about 40 people altogether in my research so there is normally someone else to chat to in the lab. I also have regular meetings with my supervisor and other scientists in the group. My computer workstation is in a shared student office with other PhD students so there is plenty of company tbh!
