      I hope so. I am involved in finding new medicines. I work at the start of the process, but hopefully something I work on will go on to help people feel better

      I like to think so. I think all work by scientists benefits the world in some way because we’re always learning something new

      I do not know if my work benefit the world. But I am sure that the work that all the scientists do around the world, including all the experiments that goes wrong every day, will lead to a better understanding of some diseases. And this knowledge achieved with the work of thousands of scientist will allow us to find a solution and treatment for these diseases

      Yes, that is very much the case. All my work on clinical trials and public health is for the benefit of patients and the public.

      I hope that it will – I am only at the start of my PhD. But I hope that my work might help uncover a new treatment for antimicrobial-resistant infections. I think that science in general benefits the world as it allows us to understand ourselves and our planet better, and to separate fact from fiction in general.
