Question: how did you get started with this website and why

A colleague from my lab took part before in I’m A Scientist and said it was a really positive experience, and I have to say I’m finding it to be so too. I think that students and teenagers especially get such a bad rap but I’ve really been blown away by the questions and level of understanding and interest. I suppose it’s also a way to give back a bit and be more open about my experience studying in science, I wish that something like this had been around when I was in primary/secondary school as I had a lot of questions that it was difficult to get answers to on my own!
