My mum is a physiotherapist actually 🙂 I believe that you are required to have at least one laboratory science subject for direct entry to the Physiotherapy degrees in Ireland, which could be Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Physics / Chemistry or Agricultural Science. The requirements might be different in various colleges, or change if you are applying as a mature student.
You should probably check this out at the different Universities as it may differ for each. For Trinity you need Leaving Certificate O4 or H6 Mathematics H4 In two of physics, chemistry, biology, physics/chemistry, mathematics or agricultural science.
But in general, to be a physiotherapist you will study a lot of Science subjects in University and so Biology and Chemistry and one other Science subject might be something you should consider.
