Question: what do you think will end the world????

That is a very tough question. I don’t think we are going to be hit by a meteorite and go extinct like dinosaurs. Such events are very rare and unlikely to affect as soon. And by the time there might be such a threat, we will have the technology to deal with it. I am even more sure we are not going to be invaded by aliens like in a Hollywood blockbuster. So that leaves only ourselves. We have to be responsible what we do with our technology and towards our planet in general. Some people are very proud or ignorant and can go to war with devastating effects over nothing, we have seen this happen in our history over and over again, but now we have the weapons that can destroy the whole planet in an hour. And now there is, of course, the threat of global warming. It will not be the end of the world as such, but the effects could be very severe. Despite many scientists being quite sure people are causing the planet to warm up and global warming being very real, we are still very unsure exactly what the effects will be. Such rapid warming has never occurred in the past, so we have no examples to look for. This means all the predictions are sort of an educated guess. Nevertheless, most of the scientist think that global warming, if left unattended, will not eliminate us as species, however the effects of it range between “bad” and “very bad”.
