Hey, really good question! So these are different to what you use at home. We use them in food production to make sure that there is no organisms in the food that could make you sick, so they keep you safe. It is very rare for the chemicals to get into the food but it can happen when gone off products are used. Don’t worry all the food in the supermarket has been tested and is safe for you to eat!
My research is aimed at minimizing food waste and investigating why this happens to we can overcome the issue!
