I don’t think this really counts as an invention, but I had a problem during my project that took me a while to figure out! I have something called an automatic water sampler which I can turn on when the river is flooding to take bottles of water from the river. Because I work with the freshwater pearl mussel I didn’t want the automatic water sampler (a big heavy machine!) to wash in and damage them so I had to find a way to keep it as far away from the water as I could. I ended up building tree houses in trees beside the river to hold my machine, and it worked really well, but people laugh at me when I show them pictures đŸ˜€ I really hope I invent something proper in the future đŸ™‚

We have an invention which will hopefully help us make vaccines that work better. It is currently being assessed by a legal person (called a patent lawyer) which will give it protection so we own the rights to it!

William,I think you should invent a cleaning product that you can buy everywhere in Ireland that makes slime (eg.borax)
