  Absolutely not! All jellyfish can sting you even when they’re washed up on the beach. Some jellyfish only give a very weak sting but others can give a very strong painful sting. Unless you know the different types of jellyfish, those which have a bad sting and those which don’t, it’s better not to pick them up at all. Better to be safe than sorry!
