  That’s a fun question! Through evolution, two birds that were not chickens could eventually lay an egg containing a chicken! So really the egg came first 🙂 Evolution changes birds over thousands of years to eventually become a chicken, but for that to happen the chicken-egg has to arrive first 🙂
