Question: did you ever shoot a bird

I have never shot a bird. I have never had any reason to do so. If I was stranded on a remote island and I had no food to survive, then I would probably shoot a bird to survive. We humans have a diet that includes a lot of mean, e.g. chicken and other birds. I think this is entirely natural (however we definitely eat too much!). I think the important things with regard to killing and eating animals is to make sure we do it sustainably (that means, we don’t kill and eat them all!). Therefore, we should try never to eat endangered species and instead eat those species who are doing fine in the wild. Also, if we are going to kill an animal to eat it we should make sure the animal dies quickly and with as little pain as possible.
