      Hi!
Well my current research identified a small bird from tropical islands in Indonesia as a unique new species, called the Wakatobi Flowerpecker. It’s a very pretty bird from the Wakatobi Islands in Indonesia (where it gets its name from). The males have a beautiful red path on their fronts (almost like a robin). It eats nectar from flowers by pecking at the bottom of flowers and sucking out the nectar – which is why it’s called a flowerpecker. They can be very difficult to see in their habitats as they’re so small – but the challenge of finding them is fun! If you’d like to see a photo of one, have a look at my profile.
