Hi Gracie. The reason you can see the moon during the day, as well as the night, is that the moon has it’s own cycle. It typically rises in the east and settles in the west, like the sun, but also changes its position according to it’s cycle. This cycle goes from a full moon when the moon is directly opposite (180 degrees to) the sun, to a new moon when the moon is closer to the sun (approaching 0 degrees).
