Question: would you ever hurt a bird if needed

Ideally, no. However, there are two situations in which I think hurting a bird would be acceptable. 1) If a bird was injured or in pain and you had to hurt it a little bit to help it survive I think that would be ok. For example, when vets help birds, they sometimes have to hurt them a little, but is only because they want to help the birds. 2) I eat chicken, so I think eating some birds is ok once you don’t eat them all!
