• Question: do you only do one type of topic

      The short answer- yes. Most scientists have one ‘research question’, which they focus on and try to solve. My topic is electricity in the human body, but I use lots of different kinds of science, and machines and tools to do this.

      The great thing about being a scientist is that you work right beside lots of other groups of scientists, who can apply their knowledge to your topic. Like today, I gave some of my crystals to some laser physicists in my building, even though my ‘topic’ isn’t laser physics.
