No unfortunately- an Irish woman was recently picked to be the first Irish person to go into space, but you need lots of experience in space science and special training to be an astronaut. Hopefully in the future it will be easier for scientists to travel to the moon and do experiments.

Nope- but I heard that the age cut off for becoming an astronaut is 40 so i still have time!

Unfortunately not. I wish I had been though. There have only been 12 people to walk on the moon, thanks the the Apollo missions from 1969-1972, so well before I was born. The first was Neil Armstrong who died in 2012. There’s only 6 of them left alive now. I’ve seen moon rock under a microscope though brought back from Apollo 17, so that’s as close as I think I’ll get!
